New York Pizza joint’s you must try

Whether you are stumbling out of a bar on the lower East Side craving that dollar slice pizza or after great pizza below are a few of my favourite places.

Where: 261 Moore St, Brooklyn, NY 11206

Roberta’s opened its doors back in 2009 in a cinder block garage, and its exterior does nothing to remake its former purpose. It reminds me of an old vandalised telephone box but despite the exterior, this place is always packed out with swarms of hipsters and foodies. This place also does deliveries.

Where: 150 E 14th St, New York, NY 10003

Grab a slice of pizza from Joe’s Pizza.  You might run into Peter Parker (aka Tobey Maguire, aka Spiderman) working as a delivery boy at the one near Union Square.

Where: 364 Grand St, Brooklyn, NY 11211

img_4949I tried out the Peperoni crust and was blown away. It is probably the most expensive tasting pizza I have ever consumed but well worth $21

Emily is also famous for their burgers. Welcome the chicken parm which is served on a pretzel bun.

Where: 19 1st Avenue, New York, NY 10003

This is a cash only joint serves the best Italian pizza. My brother was visiting from Scotland and we were craving good pizza. We shared the prociutoo pizza which had a light base and incredibly tasteful.
