Harlem

harlem-picFamous for its talented gospel choirs, soul food joints and performance venue Apollo Theatre. Harlem remains one of New York’s most diverse neighbourhoods with its long history of African-American culture.

As you make your way up town from 116th street on a Sunday morning you’ll experience the sound of joyful singing of church choirs. You might know iconic spots such as, Harlem Shake, Levain Bakery and St Johns Cathedral.

Take the A train on the subway from Times Square and get off at 125 street and walk about ten minutes to reach Harlem.
