If you wander down the streets of Soho between Broadway and 6th Avenue, you’ll see many cast iron buildings with nearly 150 structures still remaining. Soho contains one of the largest collections of cast-iron buildings in the world.
Soho (short for South of Houston) has undergone dramatic changes in the past few decades. Originally, Soho was centre of New York’s art scene but today it is mostly a non-residential crowd. Any exploration of Soho’s streets requires crisscrossing and doubling back.
