I was fortunate enough to attend the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall last month which celebrated the music of Attenborough’s BBC Television series, Life Story. The BBC’s Life Story series is narrated by Sir David Attenborough himself and follows the lives of animals across the world.
The soundtrack, composed by Murray Gold (who has written the music for Doctor Who since 2005), takes centre-stage, performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra. Sir David introduces sequences from the series played on big screens and is joined by members of the production team, who offer insights into the making of this stunning natural history series.
